For the past nine years, I’ve been directing projects that rely on photorealistic digital humans — from creative concept through to final delivery. My focus is on what comes out of the pipeline: who the character is, how they move, what they feel, and why it matters.

In practice, that means art directing the digital characters, directing actors during motion capture sessions with a thorough understanding of the technical constraints that shape performance on set, making decisions about expression, posture, cloth, light — and supervising the entire production chain to make sure the result looks and feels right. 

I’ve led this kind of production across immersive theatre (Alice, The Horrifically Real Virtuality, Play!), contemporary art (Bedlam with Mat Collishaw), live XR performance, R&D with Chanel’s Innovation Lab, and experimental series (MP7 Transition).
